"Our garden is a total joy, Julian interpreting exactly ideas that we didn't know that we had or could dream of. His use of space and levels has turned our rather small over-hung town garden into a special set of different areas, giving us a lovely vista through our single window. His planting is clever, both looking good all year round, without visual clutter and is also easy to maintain. The design process seemed effortless and we feel that we've gained another room as well as a wonderful out door space. We look forward to moving so that we can design another garden with Julian."

Julian created a perfect multi purpose family garden for us despite very challenging conditions. He helped us through the whole process of working out what we wanted, and understanding what was possible with tact and good humour, and he made the project fun for us. His project management was fantastic and the whole thing was delivered on schedule and on budget. He was very flexible about working with our builder and others he had not previously worked with, and he ensured that everything was done to a very high standard. The end result is exactly what we wanted, a flexible, low maintenance but very pretty garden which looks good all year round, with enough room for the kids to run around, and for us to entertain, all in keeping with the style of the cottage and it's surroundings. A tricky brief in a small space which also has to include a large listed greenhouse and parking for two cars!
